How did Nutri-Bits come about?
Sister Joan's Nutri-Bits were carefully developed over 8 years as a nutritious, additive-free treat for my Sheperds. Other dog owners, seeing how much my dogs liked these treats, asked for them.
I began making Nutri-Bits in my kitchen. Many orders followed, and it was obvious the project was too big to be made in the Monastery's ovens.
Nutri-Bits are now being manufactured for national distribution. Much care has been taken to ensure that the ORIGINAL RECIPE be used with ALL NATURAL ingredients. There is NO SALT, NO SUGAR, NO ADDITIVES or BY-PRODUCTS in these treats.
Who is Sister Joan?
Sister Joan Schneider is a Benedictine nun in the community at St. Paul's Monastery in St. Paul, MN. (Royalties from the sale of this product are used for the retirement of religious orders.)
Sister Joan has bred quality German Shorthair and German Shepard dogs for 18 years. Her first Shepard, Sara, was from the Monastery at New Skete in Cambridge, NY.
